MOVING IN

There are several items we must receive before we can release keys to you. These are important to ensure a smooth move-in process and to confirm that everything is in order. Please make sure the following items are completed and submitted before your scheduled move-in date:

1. Lease must be fully signed

  • Upon approval, we will email you a lease for electronic signing. The property is not pulled from the market until the lease has been signed by all parties. 

2. Security deposit must be received in full

  • We only take certified funds for move-in payments (cashier’s checks or money orders) made out to The Real Estate Mavericks
  • You may also qualify through Obligo and decide to use them in place of a traditional deposit

3. First month’s rent and any applicable fees must be received in full

  • Certified funds only (cashier’s checks or money orders) made out to The Real Estate Mavericks

4. Utilities (if applicable) must be switched to your name by the move in date

  • We must be given the account numbers for each utility provider for the home
  • If we must disconnect utilities out of our name because you have not switched them over, we may charge a $75 admin fee

5. We must be given a copy of your renters insurance policy

  • Tenant must maintain adequate insurance for their personal property and liability insurance in the amount of $100,000 during the Lease Term

Receiving Keys

  • We will schedule a time to meet with you at our office to exchange keys for move in funds on your move in day. 

  • Prior to your lease start date, we will complete a move in inspection. You will be provided a digital copy of the inspection and will have 2 weeks to take your own notes/photos and upload them to the Resident Center 

  • Please contact us with any questions before your move in date so we can help make this a smooth move in process for you!
